About me
I’ve always been drawn to the stories behind things, whether it’s a headline, a red-carpet look, or a topic on everyone’s mind. I was born and raised in East Boston, Massachusetts, before moving to Lynnfield, Massachusetts, and my love for journalism sparked when I became co-editor-in-chief of my high school yearbook.
I started off at Syracuse University as a Political Science major, but I kept finding my way back to storytelling. I switched into the Magazine, News & Digital Journalism program at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, and since then I have continued to grow my love for reporting, writing, and finding new ways to connect content with audiences.
Today, I write fashion, beauty, and culture stories for Zipped Magazine’s website and Substack. This past summer, I worked as a communications intern for the Massachusetts State Treasurer’s Executive Office, which gave me my first real look at where communications, media, and public service meet. It showed me how much the right content can shape the way people understand the world around them, and that’s the kind of work I want to keep doing.
This spring, I will be studying abroad in Madrid, and I can’t wait to see how a new culture shapes the stories I want to tell. I’m always looking for the next story worth telling, what inspires me, and new ways to create content people care about.
